SingNet PER.SG Registration Policy
- Personal Domain Parking subscription will be billed on a yearly
basis. Personal Domain Service is offered as a value-added services for subscribers who have a SingNet main service such as Dial-Up or BroadBand service. In the event that the SingNet main service is terminated, the PER.SG Domain Parking service will be terminated only when the current year subscription expired. However, the PER.SG web-space, web-redirecting and virtual email service will be terminated on the same day when the SingNet main service ended. There will be no refund if Customer decides to terminate
this service prematurely.
- All fees must be prepaid and are non-refundable upon successful
application.
- Subject to anything to the contrary herein contained either
party may terminate this Agreement by giving to the other party
a written notice of not less than one (1) month.
SGNIC Registration Policy
All registrations (including pre-registrations) must comply
with the following SGNIC's PER.SG Registration Policy:
- Registrant must be a Singapore citizen or Permanent Resident
at or above twenty-one (21) years old.
- Registrant below the age of twenty-one (21) may apply for
PER.SG domain name registration with consent from applicant's
parent or guardian if parents are not available.
- Singapore work permit holders, foreigners are not eligible
for PER.SG domain name registration.
- Registration of PER.SG domain names that imply relationship
with official titles in the Singapore Government will NOT
be approved. Examples of such domain names are president.per.sg,
primeminister.per.sg
- Registration from a person trying to register another person's
name as a PER.SG domain name will NOT be approved. For example
Mr. Tan Ah Kow trying to register the domain name limahlek.per.sg
will NOT be approved.
- Registration for PER.SG domain name which resemble Singapore
Identity Card number format in the form of "SnnnnnnnA" (the
character S followed by seven digits and ends with an alphabet),
or "SAnnnnnnn" (the character S followed by an alphabet and
seven digits) will NOT be approved. Example of such domain
names are: s1234567x.per.sg and sx1234567.per.sg. Similarly,
if IC numbers in 21st century begin with the alphabet T, then
domain names like t1234567x.per.sg and tx1234567.per.sg will
NOT be approved.
- All common surnames and special requests from the Government
of Singapore are reserved by SGNIC for further use. This list
of reserved domain names is available for viewing at
http://www.nic.net.sg/pdf/rppg.pdf
- Registrations with obscene, swear words, or such word included
as part of the PER.SG domain names will NOT be approved
- There is no limit to the number of PER.SG domain name an
eligible person can register. Each domain name Registration
must comply with SGNIC's PER.SG Domain Name registration policy.
