I cannot surf the Internet

Browser Type : Macintosh Netscape Communicator 4.0

Proxy Setting

1. Launch the Netscape Communicator Program
2. From the main Windows , select "Edit" > "Preferences..."
   
   
   
3. You show see a dialog window appears as shown below
   
   
   
4. From the left window , go to "Advanced" option ( last option )
5. Double click onto the "Advanced" option to expand into more sub options
   
   
   
6. Select "Proxies" option at the category and see the right window
7. Check the option box "Direct connect to the Internet" and click on "Configure..." button
8. Press "OK" button to apply the changes

Clear Memory / Disk Cache

1. Launch the Netscape Communicator Program
2. From the main Windows , select "Edit" > "Preferences..."
   
   
   
3. You show see a dialog window appears as shown below
   
   
   
4. From the left window , go to "Advanced" option ( last option )
5. Double click onto the "Advanced" option to expand into more sub options
   
   
   
6. Select "Cache" option at the category and see the right window
7. Click the "Clear Memory Cache" and "Clear Disk Cache" button to clear cache
8. Press "OK" button to apply the changes
