Setup Magix Dial-Up Connection in Windows XP

1. To go to the Dial-Up Networking ,

For Win XP Pro users:
1. On the Windows Desktop, click on Start > My Network Places




2. On the left side, click on View network connections




For Win XP Home users:

1. There will not be My Network Places option available
2. Click on Control Panel




3. On the right side, click on Network and Internet Connections




4. Click on Network Connections icon below






2. On the left side, click on Create a new connection




3. A window appears as follows. Click on Next > button




4. Select the option `Connect to the Internet` and click on Next > button




5. Select the option `Set up my connection manually` and click on Next > button




6. Select the option `Connect using a dial-up modem` and click on Next > button




7. Type in Magix under the ISP Name and click on Next > button




8. Type in the Phone number as 65379362
9. Click on Next > button




10. Type in the User name and Password accordingly




11. Tick the option `Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop` if you want to create a shortcut on the desktop
12. Click on Finish button




13. A new dialer is created in the Network Connections




14. A connection shortcut icon will be created at the Windows desktop




15. You have successfully setup a Magix connection in Windows XP
