Aztech DSL700P
Install Driver and configure Network settings in Windows 2000 Professional
Note:
- Ensure that you have installed the Aztech DSL700P Card properly into the Computer
- Ensure that you have inserted the Aztech DSL700P Installation CD into the CD ROM
- When you startup the system ,the Windows will detect the Aztech DSL700P Card
- You should see the Hardware Wizard window appears as shown below
- Click on Next > button to continue

- Tick the option "Search for the suitable driver for your device (Recommended)" and click on Next > button

- Tick the option "Specifiy a location" and click on Next > button

- Click on Browse... button

- Browse to the CDROM drive and select "3_Win2K" folder
- Click on OK button

- Click on OK button

- Click on Next > button

- Click on Yes button to agree on the digital signature

- Please wait while the Windows is copying files

- Click on Finish button to end the installation

- Next is to configure the Network settings
- From the windows desktop, select the network neighbourhood icon
- Click on right button of the mouse and select Properties option

- Double click on Local Area Connection icon

- Click on Properties button

- Select the option "Internet Protocol(TCP/IP)" and click on Properties button

- Tick the option "Use the following IP address" and type in the IP as follows:
IP Address : Please refer to your service letter
Subnet mask : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway : follow the IP address except the last number is 2 e.g. XXX.XXX.XXX.2
- Tick the option "Use the following DNS Server Addresses" and type in the DNS servers as follows:
Preferred DNS Server : 165.21.83.88
Alternate DNS Server : 165.21.100.88
- Click on OK button

- Click on OK button to close the TCP/IP window
- Click on OK button to close the Local Area Connection window
- You should see a small icon at the system taskbar

- You are ready for surf the Internet and read your emails
- You have successfully installed the Aztech DSL 700P driver onto the Windows 2000 Professional
