Aztech DSL700P

Install Driver and configure Network settings in Windows XP
Note:

  • Ensure that you have installed the Aztech DSL700P Card properly into the Computer
  • Ensure that you have inserted the Aztech DSL700P Installation CD into the CD ROM
  1. When you startup the system ,the Windows will detect the Aztech DSL700P Card
  2. You should see the Hardware Wizard window appears as shown below
  3. Tick the option "Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)" and click on Next > button



  4. Tick the option "Include this location in the search :" and click on Browse button



  5. Browse to the CDROM drive and select "5_WinXP" folder
  6. Click on OK button



  7. Click on Next > button



  8. Click on Continue Anyway button to continue



  9. Please wait while the Windows is copying files



  10. Click on Finish button to end the installation



  11. Next is to configure the Network settings
  12. From the windows desktop, double click on My Network Places icon



  13. Double click on Local Area Connection icon



  14. Select the option "Internet Protocol(TCP/IP)" and click on Properties button



  15. Tick the option "Use the following IP address" and type in the IP as follows:

  16. IP Address : Please refer to your service letter
    Subnet mask : 255.255.255.0
    Default Gateway : follow the IP address except the last number is 2 e.g. XXX.XXX.XXX.2
  17. Tick the option "Use the following DNS Server Addresses" and type in the DNS servers as follows:

  18. Preferred DNS Server : 165.21.83.88
    Alternate DNS Server : 165.21.100.88
  19. Click on OK button



  20. Click on OK button to close the TCP/IP window
  21. Click on OK button to close the Local Area Connection window
  22. You are ready for surf the Internet and read your emails
  23. You have successfully installed the Aztech DSL 700P driver onto the Windows XP
