Create a Magix Connection manually

* if you have successfully installed the driver , you should have a Magix connection created at the desktop . The below step is for the user who delete / remove the connection accidentally and wants to create it back.

  1. To go to Dial-Up Networking ,

    • For Win XP Pro users:
      1. On the Windows Desktop, click on Start > My Network Places



      2. On the left side, click on View network connections




    • For Win XP Home users:
      1. There will not be My Network Places option available
      2. Click on Control Panel


      3. On the right side, click on Network and Internet Connections



      4. Click on Network Connections icon below




  2. On the left side, click on Create a new connection



  3. A window appears as follows. Click on Next > button



  4. Select the option `Connect to the Internet` and click on Next > button



  5. Select the option `Set up my connection manually` and click on Next > button



  6. Select the option ' Connect using a dial-up modem' and click on Next > button



  7. Type in Magix in the ISP Name field and click on Next > button



  8. Leave the Phone number field blank and click on Next > button



  9. Type in the username (in userid@INT512 format) followed by the password (twice) and click on Next > button



  10. Tick the option 'Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop' if you want to add a connection shortcut icon at the desktop
  11. Click on Finish button



  12. A Magix shortcut icon will appear at the desktop



  13. You've successfully setup a Magix Connection manually
