Install Driver in Windows XP (ver 3.4.1)

Note: Do not plug in the modem at this stage. Insert the installation CD into the CD-ROM first.

1. The SpeedStream DSL installation screen will appear

2. Click on Next > button

3. Click on No > button

4. Click on Next > button

5. Now you can plug in the modem into the computer's USB port

6. Select the option Please make the necessary system changes for optimal performance and click on OK button
   
   
   
7. Click on OK button
   
   
   
8. Click on Finished button

9. Click on Next > button
   
   
   
10. Please wait while searching for network configurations
    
    
    
11. If the search for PPP Over ATM LLC Encapsulation is successful, a window will appear as follows
12. Click on Save button
    
    
    

    Important Note: there may be some problem at this part of the installation.
    
    

    1. If the network configuration search (step 10) found more than one result, select PPP Over ATM LLC Encapsulation with VPI = 0 and VCI = 100, and click on Next > button
       
       
       
    2. However, if the result(s) do not contain PPP Over ATM LLC Encapsulation with VPI = 0 and VCI = 100, click on Manual Configuration button
       
       
       
    3. Select the option Manually enter connection information and click on Next > button
       
       
       
    4. Type in 0 and 100 in the respective field
       
       
       
    5. Click on Save button
       
       
       
    
    
    
13. A connection shortcut icon, SpeedStream DSL will be created at the desktop
    
    
    
    

Proceed to "Connecting to Magix"
