| Win XP Home/Pro - Connecting to SingNet Broadband (WinPoET ver 5.0) |
1. Double-click on the WinPoET v5.0 icon on the desktop |
| 2. Type in the Username in 'userid@singnet' format followed by the login password |
3. Click on Start button to connect |
| 4. Please wait while connecting to SingNet Broadband |
5. Upon successfully connection , you will see a small blinking
icon appear at the taskbar |
| 6. You have successfully connected to SingNet Broadband in Win XP |
| Win XP Home/Pro - Setup PPPoE Connection Manually |

1. To go to the Network Connections, |
| o For Win XP Pro users: ( Alternately you can reach there by Start > All Programs > Accessories > Communications > New Connection Wizard ) 1. From the Windows Desktop, click on Start > Control Panel 2. Double click on the Network Connections icon |
| o For Win XP Home users: 1. From the Windows Desktop, click on Start > Control Panel 2. Double click on the Network and Internet Connections icon 3. Double click on the Network Connections icon |
2. On the left side, click on Create a new connection

3. A window appears as follows. Click on Next > button |
4. Select the option `Connect to the Internet` and click
on Next > button |
5. Select the option `Set up my connection manually` and
click on Next > button |
6. Select the option 'Connect using a broadband connection that
requires a user name and password' and click on Next >
button |

7. Type in SingNet Broadband in the ISP Name field
and click on Next > button |
8. Type in the username (in userid@singnet format) followed
by the password (twice) and click on Next > button |
| 9. Tick the option 'Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop' if you want to add a connection shortcut icon at the desktop |
10. Click on Finish button |
11. A SingNet Broadband shortcut icon will appear at the desktop |
| 12. You've successfully setup a PPPoE Connection manually |
