Internet Explorer 5.5

 
Proxy Setting

  1. Double-click on the Internet Explorer icon
  2. From the menubar, select Tools > Internet Options...




  3. The Internet Options window opens. Click on Connection tab.




  4. Under the Connection tab, go to Dial-up settings item and select the option Never dial a connection




  5. Please go to the LAN settings item and click on the LAN Settings... button
  6. The Local Area Network (LAN) Settings window opens.
  7. In the Proxy Server item, uncheck the option Use a proxy server




  8. Click on the OK button to apply and update the changes

Clear Memory / Disk Cache

  1. Double-click on the Internet Explorer icon
  2. From the menubar, select Tools > Internet Options...




  3. Click on the General tab.




  4. In the Temporary Internet Files item, click on the Delete Files button. Please answer Yes when prompted.
  5. In the History item, click on Clear History... button and select Yes to confirm clear.
