Macintosh 8.5 and Above - Setting Up Internet Setup Assistant
Click on the Apple Menu > Internet Access > Internet Setup Assistant
The Internet Setup Assistant window opens. Click on the Yes button to continue
The next window will prompt you "Do you already have an internet account?"
Click on the No button
The Internet Setup Assistant Introduction window opens.
Click on the Right Arrow to continue.
The Internet Setup Assistant Modem Settings window opens.
Configure the setting as follows :
What modem are you using ?, select Modem as iMac Internal 56k
Which port is the modem connected to ?, select Port as Internet Modem
Does your phone line use tone or pulse ?, select Tone
Do not check or tick the option Ignore Dial tone
Click on the Right Arrow to continue.
The Internet Setup Assistant Register ISP or Configure ISP window opens.
Select the item Click here if you want to configure your ISP.
Click on the Right Arrow to continue.
The Internet Setup Assistant ISP Information window opens.
Configure as follows :
Choose by country, select Singapore from the pop up menu.
Available Choices, select Singnet
Click on the Right Arrow to continue
The Internet Setup Assistant Additional ISP Information window opens.
Click on the Right Arrow to continue.
The Internet Setup Assistant Configuration Information window opens.
What is the phone number for this configuration ? Your computer calls this number to connect to the internet .

Click on the Right Arrow to continue.
The Internet Setup Assistant IP Address window opens.
Click on No.
Click on the Right Arrow to continue.
The Internet Setup Assistant Email address and password window opens.
In the entry box for What is the e-mail address for this configuration ?, please type in your e-mail address
In the entry box for What is the e-mail password for this configuration ?, please type in your e-mail password
Click on the Right Arrow to continue.
The Internet Setup Assistant Conclusion window opens.
Click on Go Ahead to complete the session
Internet Setup Assistant setup in MacOS is completed
