Macintosh 8.5 and Above - Configuring TCP/IP

 

  1. Select Apple Menu , Control Panels and then TCP/IP




  2. The TCP/IP diaglog window opens
  3. In the item Connect via, please select PPP




  4. In the item Configure, please select Using PPP Server




  5. Configure the settings as follows :


      6.               IP Adress: <will be supplied by server>
              Subnet mask: <will be supplied by server>
           Router address: <will be supplied by server>

      Name server addr:  165.21.100.88

              165.21.83.88

        Search domains::  singnet.com.sg


  6. Once you have entered all the above information, click on small square box located on the top left corner of the TCP/IP window to update the settings




  7. You will be prompted to save the changes. Please click on Save button to apply and update the changes





    8. TCP/IP Configuration in MacOS is completed
