Dial-up conflict with VoiceMail Lite service - Windows 2000 Professional
Click on
Start > Settings > Control Panel
Double-click on
Phone and Modem
Options button
Click on the
Modems
tab on top
Select the modem that you're using and click on
Properties
button
Ensure that the option "
Wait for dial tone before dialing
" is unticked
Click on
OK
button to exit
After the above, the dialer should be able to work fine, even with the presence of the "
shutter tone
"
