Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional - Connecting to SingNet

 

  1. From the Windows Desktop, double click on My Computer icon

  3. My Computer window opens. Double-click on the Control Panel icon




  4. Control Panel window opens. Double click on the Network and Dial-up Connections icon




  5. Network and Dial-up Connections window opens. Double click on the SingNet icon




  6. The Connect SingNet window opens as shown below
    • Username:          Enter your UserId here
    • Password:          Enter your Login Password here

    • (Please be aware that your password is case-sensitive and comprise of alpha-numeric characters. Your password is the first item to check out if you have problems logging into the server)
  7. Click on the Dial button to dial out




  8. The following windows will appear in succession.








  9. When your connection is successfull, you will see a small computer icon appears in your Windows taskbar, normally on the bottom right of the desktop

  10. To see the status of your connection, double click on this icon




  11. The SingNet Status window opens. Once you have finished using your SingNet connection, please click on Disconnect to end the session





  12. Connecting to SingNet in Windows 2000 is completed
