Microsoft Windows 98/98SE - Installing Dial-Up Networking
Important Note :
Before you proceed with the setup, please ensure that you have the original version of Windows 98 installation CD-ROM with you.
- Go to your Windows taskbar and click on Start > Settings > Control Panel
- The Control Panel window opens. Double click on the Add/Remove Programs icon
- The Add/Remove Programs Properties window opens. Click on Windows Setup tab.
- Highlight the Communications item and click on Details... button.
- The Communications window opens. Click on the checkbox next to the Dial-Up Networking option. Please ensure that the tick or check-mark is present - see graphics below...
- Click on OK button to continue.
- Windows 98 will prompt you to insert your Win98 CD-ROM. Please follow the instructions given on the screen to complete the installation.
