Important note : Before you proceed, please make sure that you have the original version of Windows ME installation CD-ROM with you.

If the Network setup window is not opened, please continue with the steps below:

1. Go to the taskbar and click on: Start > Settings > Control Panel





2. Double click on Network icon





3. The Network components window opens. Highlight Dial-Up Adapter and click on Properties button





4. Click on the Driver Type tab and ensure that the settings are as indicated below>
   
   
   
   
5. Click on the Bindings tab and ensure that the settings are as indicated below





6. Click on the Advanced tab and ensure that the settings are as indicated below





7. Click on the OK button. The Network components window is displayed again.
   Highlight TCP/IP -> Dial-Up Adapter and click on Properties button





8. TCP/IP Properties window opens. Click on the DNS Configuration tab and ensure that the settings are as indicated below





9. Click on the Advanced tab and ensure that the settings are as indicated below





10. Click on the Bindings tab and ensure that the settings are as indicated below





11. Click on the OK button and follow any instructions prompted by the process.
