Important Note :
Before you proceed with the setup, please ensure that you have the original version of Windows Me installation CD-ROM with you.

1. Go to your Windows taskbar and click on Start > Settings > Control Panel





2. Control Panel window opens. Double click on Add/Remove Programs icon





3. Add/Remove Programs Properties window opens. Click on Windows Setup tab





4. Highlight the Communications item and click on Details





5. Communications window opens. Click in the checkbox of Dial-Up Networking component. Please ensure that the tick or check-mark is present - see graphics below...
6. Click on the OK button





7. Click on Apply and then Ok button.





8. Windows Me will prompt you to insert your WinMe CD-ROM. Please follow the instructions given on the screen to complete the installation.
