Configure Mail Server Setting

1. Launch the Netscape Communicator
2. From the menu bar, click on Edit > Preferences...






3. The Preferences window opens with a window on the left and the corresponding information for the items in the window on the right






4. In the left window, select Mail & Groups > Identity item
5. Configure the settings as follows
• Your Name:            [Enter your Real Name here]
• E-mail address:      [Enter your SingNet email address here]
• Reply-to address:   [Enter your SingNet email address here]





6. In the left window, select Mail & Groups > Mail Servers item
7. Configure the settings as follows :



• Mail Server User Name:           [Enter your SingNet UserID here]


• Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server:  mail.singnet.com.sg


• Incoming Mail Server:              pop.singnet.com.sg


• Mail Server Type:
  Please select - POP3 (messages and folders are kept locally, on the hard disk)


Leave the other options empty





8. Click on the OK button to apply and update the changes
