Configure Mail Server Setting

1. Launch the Netscape Communicator
2. From the menu bar, click on Edit > Preferences...






3. The Preferences window opens with a window on the left and the corresponding information for the items in the window on the right






4. In the left window, select Mail & Groups > Identity item
5. Configure the settings as follows
• Your Name:            [Enter your Real Name here]
• E-mail address:      [Enter your SingNet email address here]
• Reply-to address:   [Enter your SingNet email address here]





6. In the left window, select Mail & Groups > Mail Server item
7. Configure the settings as follows :


• Server Information
• Mail server user name:            [Enter your SingNet UserID here]
• Outgoing Mail (SMTP) server:   mail.singnet.com.sg
• Incoming Mail server:               pop.singnet.com.sg


• Mail Server Type
• Select POP3 (messages and folders are kept locally on the hard disk).

Leave the rest of the selection as empty






8. Click on the OK button to apply and update the changes


Your SingNet Mail Server configuration in Communicator 4 is completed
