Configure Mail Server Setting

1. Launch the Netscape Communicator
2. From the menu bar, click on Edit > Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings...






3. The Preferences window opens with a window on the left and the corresponding information for the items in the window on the right



4. Configure the settings as follows
• Your Name: [Enter your Real Name here]
• E-mail address: [Enter your SingNet email address here]
• Reply-to address: [Enter your SingNet email address here]




5. In the left window, select Server Settings item
6. Ensure the settings are as follows
• Server Type: POP Mail Server
• Server Name: pop.singnet.com.sg
• Port: 110

* please take note that you cannot edit the above Server Name setting. If you need to do so, you need to create a new account by clicking on the "New Account" button





7. In the left window, select Outgoing Servers (SMTP) item
8. Configure the settings as follows :


• Server Name: mail.singnet.com.sg







9. Click on the OK button to apply and update the changes


You have successfully configured the mail configuration in Communicator 6
