Outlook Express 4.0

 

Create New Mail Account

  1. Launch the Outlook Express
  2. From the menu bar, click on Tools > Accounts...





  3. The Internet Accounts dialog window opens
  4. Click on the Mail tab and then click on the Add > Mail... button





  5. The Internet Connection Wizard dialog window opens
  6. Enter your real name in the Display name entry box and click on the Next > button





  7. Next you should see another dialog window opens
  8. Select this item - I already have an email address that I'd like to use
  9. In the E-mail address entry, enter your SingNet email address and click on the Next > button





  10. Next you should see another dialog window opens
  11. Select POP3 for the mail server type and type in the Incoming and Outgoing mail servers as pop.singnet.com.sg and mail.singnet.com.sg respectively. Click on the Next > button




 
  • Next you should see another dialog windows opens

  • Enter your SingNet UserID in the Account name entry box and your email
    password in the Password entry box and click on the Next > button


    • Note: When you put a 'tick' in the Remember password item, you will not be prompted for a password when you check your mails. It is recommended that you do not activate this item for security reasons. However, you will be prompted for your email password when you check your mails.



     
  • Next you should see this dialog window. Click on Finish button to complete the process






    • Creating a New Email Account in Outlook Express 4 is completed
