Configure Mail Account

1. Launch Outlook Express 6
2. Click on Tools > Accounts
   
   
   
3. Select the email account that belongs to SingNet and click on Properties button
   
   
   
4. Type in the following:
   Name: The name you want to be displayed under the sender name
   E-mail address: Your full SingNet email address
   Reply address: The email address you want your emails to be replied to
   
   
   
5. Click on Servers tab on top
6. Under the Incoming mail (POP3) column, type in pop.singnet.com.sg
7. Under the Outgoing mail (SMTP) column type in mail.singnet.com.sg
8. Under the Account name:, type in your SingNet UserID
9. Under the Password:, type in the e-mail password
   
   
   
   
10. Click on Connection tab on top
11. Tick the option `Always connect to this account using:` and select SingNet account
    
    
    
12. Click on Security tab on top
13. Ensure that the settings are as follow
    
    
    
14. Click on Advanced tab on top
15. Ensure that the settings are as follow
16. Click on OK button to exit
    
    
    
17. You`ve successfully configured the Outlook Express 6

    For users using pop.singnet.com.sg and mail.singnet.com.sg, they will not be able to send mails without first receiving mails.

    1. Single click on Tools then select Send and Receive
    2. Click on Receive All
