The iPass Setup wil prompt you for the location where you want to install the program.
Choose your preference and click on Next > button
The iPass Setup program will go through the installation process.
Please wait for the process to complete.
Once the iPass Setup process is completed, you will see the 'InstallShiled Wizard Complete' window
Click on Finish button
You've successfully installed iPass
Configure iPassConnect
When you launch the iPass Connect program for the first time, you will see the End-User Agreement screen which you must `Accept` to continue
Click on OK button
You should be at the main window
Click on the Country selection 'down arrow' button and select "Hong Kong".
Click on the City selection `down arrow` button and select "Hong Kong".
A listing of iPass partnered ISP telephone numbers in "Hong Kong" will be displayed
Tip: If there are more than one number listed, you should click on Select All button to maximise your chance of getting connected via one of these listed numbers
If you are dialling from a hotel or company that uses a prefix digit to access an outside line
Click on Options > Dial Properties...
Under the General section:
To access outside line dial: type-in the prefix digit inside the entry box. For example, hotel PABX normally uses the prefix digit - 9
Click on OK button to continue.
Click on Options > User Info...
Enter the Username as UserID@singnet.com.sg and Password as your login password
Click on OK button to continue.
Click on Options > Settings...
Click on Dialup tab
Click on the 'down arrow and select the correct modem model you are using
Click on OK button to continue.
You will be brought back to the main iPassConnect window
