Technical Support - Wireless Surf - Outdoor Wireless Surf  

 

Cisco Aironet 350 : Configuration of Wireless Connection Profile (Win 98SE/ME/2000/XP)

Before you start, please ensure that you have completely installed the Cisco Aironet 350 driver and the Aironet Client Utility

  1. Launch the Aironet Client Utility from the desktop
  2. Click on the Profile Manager icon



  3. Click on Add button to create a new profile



  4. Name the profile as Outdoor Wireless Surf and click on Apply button



  5. Under the System Parameters tab, type singtel in the SSID1: field
  6. Under the Network Type section, select the Infrastructure option



  7. Click on the Network Security tab on top
  8. Under the Network Security Type section, select None
  9. Under the WEP section, select the option No WEP
  10. Click on OK button



  11. Select Outdoor Wireless Surf under the Use Selected Profile
  12. Click on OK button



  13. Click on Status icon to view the connection status



  14. You should be able to see that the status is Associated



  15. You've successfully associated with the Outdoor Wireless Surf Access Point. Launch your Internet browser to start surfing.
