Intel 2011B : Configuration of Wireless Connection Profile (Win 98SE/ME/2000/XP)
Before you start, please ensure that you have completely installed the Intel 2011B driver and the Intel Pro Set II Utility
- Launch the Intel Pro Set II Utility from the desktop
- Select Intel(R) PRO/Wireless LAN PC Card from the Network Components list
- On the right side of the screen, click on Settings tab on top
- Click on My WLAN Places.. button below to create a new profile

- Double-click on Intel(R) PRO/Wireless LAN PC Card

- Double-click on Add New LAN Profile

- Click on Next > button

- Type in Outdoor Wireless Surf as the Profile name
- Type in Singtel Hotspot as the Profile description
- Click on Next > button

- Type in singtel in the SSID field
- Click on Next > button

- Select No option and click on Next > button

- Select No option and click on Next > button
(Select Yes if you wish to password protect your profile)

- Select Yes to restart your system

- After restarting your system, launch the Intel Pro Set II Utility and you should be able to that the connection is ready

- You've successfully associated with the Outdoor Wireless Surf Access Point. Launch your Internet browser to start surfing
