You will need to change the dial-up number
to connect to.
|

|
|
|
1.

To do this, go to the "Control
Panel". For most Windows versions, you can click on
your Windows' "Start" button to locate it.. |
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
2.
|
Click on "Network Connections".
In some Windows versions, it's located under called "Network
and Internet Connections". |

|

|
|
|
|
|

|
|

Under "Dial-up", right-click
the mouse on your "SingNet" or the name of the
dialer you used to connect and select "Properties". |

Under the "General"
tab, in the Phone Number field, change the existing number
"17136" to "17132". |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Click "OK" to confirm settings.

Open the Internet Explorer,
click on "Tools" and select "Internet Options...". |

Select the "Connections"
tab and click on the "SingNet" or the name of the
dialer you used to connect under "Dial-up and Virtual
Private Settings", click on "Settings" to change
the proxy settings. |

At the Proxy Server section,
check "Use a proxy server for this connection (These
settings will not apply to other connections)." |

At the "Address:", change "fol.singnet.com.sg"
or "filter.singnet.com.sg" to "proxy.singnet.com.sg"
and Port: "8080". |

Click "OK" to confirm the settings.
Close the Internet Explorer. |
